Dear People Who Use the Internet,

Many of you have asked about my process for putting songs together for the Song Per Week Project.  Here are some essential elements:

Coffee. Staying alert is key.

Lyrics. Sometimes grocery lists come within close proximity of song sheets.  And that’s okay.

Multiple Attempts. This is the special spot on the bookshelf for written songs, many of which you will never hear.
