Performance at City Sound Tracks Musical Festival on March 27th
Greetings:
I’m playing at City Sound Tracks, a first-of-its-kind music festival put on by What’s Up Magazine and TrackingProgress.org in support of public transit in St. Louis. St. Louis Magazine has written a nice, concise piece on it that includes a quote from the organizers:
“Public transit is a vital necessity to the future of every metropolitan area; it provides the critical regional access to employment, healthcare, education, and leisure. St. Louis is no different, and it needs excellent public transit to continue growing. Strong public transit means a system that is supported not only by robust funding, but also by a community that understands its importance in daily life. In celebration of local public transit and in an effort to displaycreative support for the April 6, 2010 county vote on Proposition A, local activists have organized the most innovative music festival in the United States.”
More details as they arrive.
Peace,
Andy
While this topic can be very frustrating for most people, my belief is that there has to be a middle or common ground that we all can find. I do value that you’ve added pertinent and intelligent thoughts here though. Very much thanks to you!
